Matt Entenza has been an attorney for over 30 years and works with professional associations, nonprofits and start-up businesses across the United States and internationally. Mr. Entenza has a B.A. degree with honors from Macalester College. He has two law degrees with honors, one from Oxford University in the United Kingdom and the other from the University of Minnesota. 

He served as a law clerk for the Honorable Harry McLaughlin for the United States District Court in Minnesota before beginning his practice as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Minnesota. In that role, he was the state’s lead prosecutor on cases involving theft, malfeasance and fraud in nonprofits. He then worked as an Assistant Hennepin County Attorney prosecuting white collar felony crimes with a focus on nonprofit organizations. Since going into private practice twenty years ago, he has worked primarily with professional associations, nonprofits and start-up businesses. He has served as general counsel, board member and shareholder representative for many startup companies during their formation and sale. 

Mr. Entenza has served on numerous community boards and organizations and is presently the Chair of the Board of Regents of Augsburg University in Minneapolis Minnesota. He was a leader in the Minnesota House of Representatives for 12 years. His post-legislative public service has included being certified as an international election monitor by the European Union and monitoring elections in Europe and Africa. He is also adjunct faculty at Hamline University School of Business in St. Paul, Minnesota where he teaches a variety of management and law courses. He previously taught management courses at St. Mary’s University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
